-A guy moves to Asia.
-Friends and family of said guy prepare him a care package.
-Inside the care package is duct tape and some cards one of which sings. (Among other things)
-Guy decides to hang cards on the wall using duct tape.
-Two weeks later, a butterfly flaps its wings.
-The extra momentum of air created by the butterfly causes just enough difference in air pressure to cause guy’s neighbor’s door to slam.
-Slamming of said door causes the building to vibrate.
-Vibration causes tape that is holding cards in place to begin to sag.
-Guy acquires a cold or some nasty allergy from germs that entered his room because of door slamming.
-One day later guy pushes cards back into place on the wall but doesn’t feel very well so he doesn’t make the necessary repairs.
-4:33 a.m. arrives and cards fall off wall causing singing card to play its tune.
-Guy is awakened and amused at the tune.
-Guy decides to share experience with the world by videoing it and posting it on his blog.
-Blog is viewed by people in several countries.
-Friend of Guy reads blog and is inspired to dance.
-Friend of guy videos the dance as requested by guy.
-Friend posts video dance on facebook.
-Guy watches video and laughs so hard that his sides are sore the next day.
? of the day for a headache from deep thought, does anyone really believe that the butterfly flapping its wings at just the right time played any part in me laughing until I hurt on a day when I was not feeling very well and needed a good laugh?
How silly is it that we create theories that focus on the butterfly rather than focusing on the one that made the butterfly? That is just about as deep as I am capable of being.
